Scorecard
The San Ramon Grizzlies defeated the Manhattan Yorkers by eight wickets after Zahid Zakhil scored an unbeaten 53 and Rahul Jariwala made 48 in the Minor League Cricket 2026 Super 8s at Prairie View Cricket Complex No. 5.

Chasing 114 for victory, San Ramon reached 115 for two in 17.4 overs, with Zakhil anchoring the innings and Jariwala providing the early scoring impetus. Zakhil was named Player of the Match after finishing unbeaten off 58 balls, including three fours and two sixes.

Jariwala struck four fours and four sixes in his 30-ball innings, helping the Grizzlies establish control before his dismissal at 71 in the 10.4th over. The opening partnership put San Ramon in a strong position to complete the chase without needing a late acceleration.

Manhattan, who won the toss and elected to bat, struggled from the outset and were bowled out for 113 in 19.1 overs. Ayan Desai dismissed Syed Abdullah for a duck in the opening over, and Adnesh Tondale removed Akshay Homraj, also without scoring, to leave the Yorkers at 11 for two.

Aditya Anand offered resistance with 29 off 22 balls, hitting three fours, while Talha Mumtaz contributed 10 before falling leg-before-wicket to Desai. The Yorkers reached 53 for four when Anand departed in the ninth over, leaving the middle order to rebuild.

Amrinder Gill scored 25 off 26 balls, and captain Yasir Mohammad added 18 off 20 deliveries. Their contributions helped Manhattan move to 73 for five, but the innings never developed the partnerships needed to produce a competitive total.

Desai led San Ramon's bowling effort, taking three wickets for 17 runs in four overs. Vedant Jain also claimed three wickets, conceding 30 runs in his four overs, while Harish Kakani returned two for four in 1.1 overs. Vatsal Vaghela took one wicket for 16 runs from four overs.

Manhattan's lower order attempted to add runs late in the innings. Adit Kappa scored 16 off 10 balls, including a four and a six, but the Yorkers lost their final five wickets for 40 runs. Nimai Bachu remained unbeaten on two as the innings ended at 113.

San Ramon's chase briefly lost momentum after Jariwala's dismissal. Captain Shivam Mishra made two before being trapped leg-before-wicket by Kappa, leaving the Grizzlies at 83 for two in the 13th over.

Zakhil remained composed through the middle overs, while Sahil Garg supported him with an unbeaten 11 off 16 balls. The pair guided San Ramon home without further wickets falling, completing the chase with 14 balls remaining.
